Space Accessibility and Equity of Urban Green Space

Urban green space is an essential form of infrastructure for cities, providing a significant spatial guarantee sustainable urban development, ecological, social, and cultural function, important symbol modernisation civilisation. However, with the development problems are becoming more serious, such as increase in impervious surfaces heat islands decrease liveability. Therefore, this study integrates theories methods landscape ecology syntax GIS technology to construct comprehensive model examining accessibility spaces based on remote images pattern indices, using Fuzhou City area. The then incorporates demographic variables explore characteristics equitable distribution at street scale. results show that areas decreases from centre periphery. From north south, there trend ‘low-high-low’, northern region exhibiting lowest accessibility, followed by southeastern region, western region. In terms equity space, has share surplus provision, both number streets This shows greater than deficit fair. We hope will not only help people gain deeper understanding but also provide reference their rational planning management, thereby improving well quality configuration. expect it valuable theoretical technical support ecological functions development.
